The Tattoo Master Academy, in collaboration with Beykent University, has established in an effort to teach certified tattoo artists.
As Turkey’s first tattoo institution with an international training curriculum, learners have a variety of alternatives, including full-time, part-time, evening, and weekend courses. The Vocational Qualification Certificate, which will be awarded at the completion of the course, will be valid in all 27 European Union member states. The training at the academy will begin on June 1 and will last two months.

Tattoo Master Academy was established by Billur Ergün Cengiz and Batuhan Cengiz in order to teach certified tattoo artists under the auspices of a university. According to Cengiz, academy trainees may experience university life without becoming a university student.

“Theoretical education will take place on the Beykent University campus.” Our pupils will gain university experience in this manner. In other words, a primary school graduate as well as a university graduate may apply to us and engage in our educational programme,” Cengiz explained.

“The program’s goal is to teach qualified tattoo artists, recruit them in our own workshops, and send them to studios in Europe with which we collaborate.” The training session will last two months. At the completion of the programme, trainees will get a university credential as well as a Vocational Qualification Certificate with an exam. As a result, they would have job options in 27 countries,” Cengiz remarked.

Funda enolu, one of the academy’s tattoo artists, stated that the practical training will be provided at their own studio in Istanbul’s Akaretler district: “We deliver an education under an academic roof, with certified practitioners and professors.”

Recently, this piece has been recognised as a work of art. Because, if we consider the human body to be a canvas, we transfer our art to that canvas.”

Enolu further stated that the academy’s training will feature master practitioners with worldwide accolades.

“One may attend expert practitioners’ classes and see their performances.” However, students must first understand about the history of tattooing. Following that, we provide a basic painting instruction. Following that, we go to the hygiene stage, which is one of the most significant because the riskiest element of this task begins then. Following the introduction of the equipment, we begin applications on fake leathers and subsequently move on to human models for a period. Finally, the trainees will be awarded a certificate that will be recognised throughout the European Union. This certification qualifies them as a worldwide artist. Another significant benefit is that we provide career chances to our students in our own studios,” enolu explained.
